* Note with so little color on the non-extension and sometimes in magpie pointed whites, it may be difficult to tell if the base is black, blue, chocolate, or lilac. It may even be difficult to tell if they are self, martenized, or agouti. A very lightly marked non-extension agouti pointed white may appear to be Ruby Eyed White. 
* Note that with silver-tipped steel pointed whites, the silver tipping may easily blend in with faded color due to the fact that pointed white is temperature sensitive and fades if the fur is grown in warm temperatures.
