Black Magpie Sr Doe. Christine is an absolutely lovely doe. With her 3 part front marking, gorgeously crisp body bands, and great size, she rocketed through her wins for her grand championship! Now with 6 legs, including a Best Opposite Sex of Breed during the same weekend as the 2024 harlequin national show, she has been partially retired from shows to make the next generation!

Dichrome’s Maya Angelou

Black Magpie Sr Doe. Maya is a lovely 3 part front doe, though her markings are not as clear as we would like. She has two best of breed wins over outside competition, but we were just short enough for a leg towards grand champion. You just can't get a much nicer chest/front leg than that! She has produced some fantastic offspring, including Italic. Maya is an absolutely wonderful mother, and her temperament is exactly what we look for in this breed! We look forward to many more gorgeous offspring from her. She carries chocolate and dilute, so she can produce all four colors of magpie.

Black Magpie Jr Doe. A pretty little two-part front with a nice chest/front leg set! Nice bands, though a little dark on one side. Looking forward to showing her!

Dichrome’s Ariadne Oliver

Blue Magpie Jr Doe. A nice cleanly marked little doe, Ariadne just missed the proper face split. She has a checker face. Oops! Still, she is too nicely marked to not keep as a brood doe. We just love her gorgeous body bands! She also has lovely depth of body and pretty decent fullness, especially for a harlequin! She's also just a hilarious girl. She loves to come out and play, and she's so smart she learned how to open her latch to come out and demand cuddles.

Dichrome’s Judy Booty

Chocolate Magpie Dr Doe. Judy is a three-part front doe with nice body bands and all four legs alternating! She looks a lot like her sister, Titania, who placed 2nd Jr doe at 2023 Convention. So we have high hopes for her. She won her first leg for Best of Breed recently, and the judge commented that she had the best type of any harlequin at the show that day, open or youth, especially her fullness. Other comments were that, though her markings were not exceptionally clean through the front, she had the most total marking parts. The judge even asked to take her photo to send to other judges as an example! We need to get new photos, as she has matured even better than when we last took photos!

Dichrome’s Emily Bronte
DREMILY
Chocolate Magpie Sr. Doe. Emily is a very plain doe. So much so that we almost did not keep her. Something made us decide to give her a try as a brood doe, and we are glad we did! She has produced some phenomenal offspring including Titania (2nd Jr Doe 2023 Convention), Helena (2 legs including one won during 2024 harlequin national weekend), and Judy Booty. She has not had a litter yet without one at least very close to a three part front, and most have at least one three part kit. She has more than earned her place in our herd, and she proves that sometimes the 'ugly' brood does are the best producers!

Lilac Magpie Sr. Doe. Lovely clean markings on this girl! Helena has 2 legs so far, including a class win during the same weekend show cluster as the 2024 harlequin nationals against some fierce competition. She's been bred for convention hopefuls, then she will go back out showing to finish her grand champion.
