Mosaics

Mosaics are rabbits in which one line of cells has a mutation after fertilization of the egg. It happens within that individual rabbit, and all the daughter cells from that point forward will contain the mutated cells. It often presents as strange color patches among another color. Below are examples of mosaics.

Chimeras

Chimeras are the result of two different embryos fusing. They tend to have much more dramatic effects. Below are examples of chimeras.
